Bengaluru, Bengaluru witnessed an enchanting evening of devotional music as renowned Bhajan artist Dr. Vidyabhushana and classical Bhajan singer Medha Vidyabhushana came together for “Bhaja Mana”, presented by HariVamsa at the Mangala Mantapa Auditorium, NMKRV College, Jayanagar.

The evening resonated with the spirit of Bhakti and Indian musical tradition, as the artists presented a soulful selection of devotional compositions.
Dr. Vidyabhushana’s distinctive voice and deeply expressive renditions captivated the gathering, while Medha Vidyabhushana complemented the evening with her graceful and melodious presentation.
The artists presented Bhakti Geets in Kannada, Marathi and Hindi.
Richa Khandelwal Bhat, Director at HariVamsa Group, addressed the audience, highlighting the need and relevance of Bhakti Sangeet in contemporary times.
The concert drew an enthusiastic gathering of music lovers and devotees, who responded warmly to the performances. The devotional ambience, coupled with the richness of classical music, transformed the programme into an experience that went beyond a conventional musical concert.
“Bhaja Mana” was conceived as an effort to bring the timeless tradition of Bhakti Sangeet closer to contemporary audiences and to create a platform where music, devotion and India’s cultural heritage come together. The vision is bring back the glory of Bhakti Sangeet in the society.
Bhaja Mana, a well-known name in the sphere of Bhakti Sangeet events, has earlier inspired the audience in Bengaluru and Delhi with popular Bhakri Sangeet and Devotional Dance artists like, “Bhajan Samrat” – Padmashree Anup Jalota, Pt. Anuj Mishra, Suryagayathri and Sivasri Tejasvi Surya.
The programme was presented by HariVamsa Group and organised by Keshava Productions, Param Foundation, Narayana’s ArtNirbhar Bharat and Samskara Bharati.
The successful evening reaffirmed Bengaluru’s deep appreciation for devotional and classical music and the continuing relevance of India’s rich musical traditions across generations.
A two-day workshop was also conducted by HariVamsa Group, Param Culture and Yuvaka Sangha, with 75 enthusiastic participants learned Bhakti Sangeet directly from Dr. Vidyabhushana and Medha Vidyabhushana. These participants presented a couple of melodious bhajans at the Bhaja Mana program.
